Hotel Le Nice Etoile

The clean bed was great, but the noise from the street was annoying.

healthy breakfast with fresh croissants from a nearby bakery. particularly good and excellant location by nice's superb tram system to all parts of the city, and large bedrooms. again, walking distance to a popular street.

I had really really nice days staying at this budget hotel. Liked my 4 nights stay. Favourable location and overall the staff was attentive. It was close to Nice city center...

The tiny room was unfortunately not equipped with a toilet seat, just bare bowl-how charming. And let's not even start on the beloved noise from the above, because who doesn't love a good wake-up call at 8 am? I was just waiting for a complimentary gift of some sort-though that would have been nice, too. Disappointed barely covers it.

excellent friendly staff ready to share and search all the information you need, good standard breakfast, perfect location (10-15' on foot to the old town and beach, 10' to the main railway station on the other direction, several restaurants and shops nearby)

staff was extremely helpful, really couldn't ask for more, when i first reached the hotel Phillipe spent 15minutes to explain everything i needed to know without me asking for it! location is brilliant as it is in between the beach and train station. they also hv prepared beach towels and umbrella at the door for a sunbath, you dont need to bring your own!

The location was right in the city center, just steps away from the pedestrian zone, super convenient. Plus, the room was clean with a charming terrace vibe.

the air-conditioning unit wasn't working.

I saw 3 staffs of this hotel but all of them were very polite, friendly and willing to help. We didn't speak any French but it was no problem. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed (air- conditioning, tv, safe and shampoo, towels, hair dryer) and bathroom seemed to have been renewed quite recently. The access to the old city center / the beach was easy. Only 2 stops on the tram. Tram stop and 2 supermarkets were all within 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. There were also restaurants/cafes in the same street. Very recommendable for low- budget city vacation.

The staff was very helpful, especiallu Yoann the manager, he speaks fluent English and Italian. The internet was free (also very good wifi signal) and you could take towels and sun umbrellas to the beach for free. Excellent value for money.

Cozy room in a great location. Loved the big street views, comfortable bed, and two warm blankets for chilly nights. It had a private bathroom with good hot water and basic toiletries. Staff were super nice. We walked around easily and found awesome restaurants nearby. The double-glazed windows kept it quiet too.

There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was terrific. The breakfast had lots of food, including freshly made croissants, cereal, pastries, fruit and cheese. The staff was fairly friendly, my every need was addressed. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the shoping center, town centre, the tram, and the train station and all the shops, 10 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from Nice seafront and the old town.

Good location, close to railway station and within easy walk of main sights; helpful staff, clean bathroom, big window.

Somewhat cramped if you are forced to stay in for a while.
